DBC is a system that was originally developed in Scandinavia over 15 years ago. A group of Finland's most respected scientists & medical doctors came together to investigate a means of accurately assessing physical injuries in order to firstly classify them, & then develop treatments highly specific to each injury. To this end, a series of very specialised medical devices were developed to assist in the assessment process.
The process is simple:
First the patient undergoes a very accurate assessment. The assessment includes measurement with the DBC devices which provide facts & figures on the injury, and defines the extent of the problem.
All the patient's information is then entered into our DBC software, which compares each patient's findings with normal, and together with the DBC physiotherapist, puts together a treatment plan. Treatment duration is dependant on the patient’s problem and the severity of their condition.
Following the Treatment Program, an Outcome Assessment is carried out to examine the level of improvement, & plan a long-term maintenance program to ensure the patient's pain does not return.
