About Us

The Assessment Process
· An initial PHYSIOTHERAPY assessment will take approximately 60 minutes. A full history of your condition will be taken and questions regarding your pain, function and medical history will be asked. The Physiotherapist will then objectively assess the problem area/s, discuss assessment findings with you and commence appropriate treatment.

This includes accurate measurement of your spinal range of movement using our specialised equipment. For a lumbar spine assessment, EMG (using surface electrodes) measurement will also be taken of spinal muscle activity in standing and under fatigue testing. You will also be given appropriate home exercises to commence.
